We are looking for a full-time (on-site) general / operations manager. This is a constantly evolving role with the potential of becoming a business partnership.

Glitch Studio is an independent and internationally well known studio in Old Market, Bristol UK. We are a creative space that’s always growing and evolving, breaking boundaries of traditional salon vibes. Hairdressing has been the heart and soul of our space from day one but now you’ll also find a range of creative experiences at our studio, including Hairdressing, Tattoo, Aesthetics, Piercing, Cosmetics, Music, Events, Plants, Food & Drink and Retail.

Our team are always encouraged to bring new ideas to the studio and share their passions with us. We love to try new things and work with our team to adapt and evolve our space.

The ideal candidate will have to, be confident and passionate about growing and supporting a small business in a non-traditional salon environment.

Our hours:

Tue / Wed / Fri: 10am - 7pm

Thurs: 10am - 6pm

Sat: 9am - 5pm

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bristol for a Manager. The Manager will be responsible for running the studio on a day to day basis. The Manager will also be responsible for outstanding customer service, team leadership and general management, including opening and closing the studio, stock orders, fostering a positive team culture, and promoting a collaborative work environment.

What You'll Do

  • You’ll be the main key holder - responsible for the opening and closing of the studio daily

  • You’ll greet customers, check in and out, take payments, answer the phone

  • You’ll keep track of current stock and be responsible for placing orders when low

  • You’ll monitor all emails and be responsible for replying to any queries or complaints

  • You’ll ensure clients have the best experience and, if anything goes wrong, do whatever it takes to make things right, making the customer feel welcomed and listened to at all times.

  • You’ll inspire and motivate the team, providing good vibes and offering support when needed.

  • You’ll support and grow the business (be passionate as if it was your own!)

  • You’ll maintain studio cleanliness throughout the day

  • You’ll collaborate with the social media manager and cover when needed

  • You’ll maintain constant communication with the managers, the team and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company

  • You’ll increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity

  • You’ll be responsible for Stakeholder Management

We are looking for a full-time or part-time Hairdresser to join our studio! With competitive salary options on both an employed or self-employed basis.
